Has British expert identified the location of James Foley's execution? Analysis of video leads to claim it was filmed south of Syrian city of Raqqa

A Leicester-based citizen journalist has used satellite imagery, maps (top left and bottom right) and evidence gleaned from the ISIS video (bottom left) to determine the exact location James Foley was killed. Eliot Higgins has posted a breakdown of his analysis on his blog to show how he used identifying features in the beheading video to locate where it occurred. Armed with the knowledge the extremist was based in Raqqa, Syria, he used the surrounding hillside, roads (top right) and greenery to pinpoint its location being the hills south of Raqqa.
